General Policies
- All abstracts must be prepared according to the correct format and requirements. Submissions will be returned to the author if not in the correct format and should be resubmitted to the committee with the exact format.
- Abstract submission will only be received online through the official website of Bali Cardiology Update (www.balicardiologyupdate.com)
- Mailed hard-copy abstract or abstract sent on disc/CD will not be accepted.
- There will be no limit to the number of abstracts for an author to submit. However, only one abstract will be accepted for presentation per author.
- Should one author have multiple accepted abstracts, they must choose which one were to be presented.
- All presenting authors, whose abstracts are accepted, must be paid registrants. Abstracts will not be processed until abstract registration fee has been received.
- Abstracts submitted will be categorized by Research and Case Report category, and the winner of the Scientific Competition will be announced and rewarded during the congress on-site.
Abstract Format Guidelines
- The abstract should be in English language and in supported format for Microsoft Word.
- The use of logos and information for advertising purpose is not allowed. Only logos of institutions.
- The title should be concise and should not contain abbreviations. It should be emphasized by the use| of bold-face type. (Times New Roman,Bold,14pt, Center Alignment)
- Author: Family name followed by first name(s) or initials of first name(s).Affiliation details of all authors: Department;institution/hospital; city;country. Presenting author should by underlined,affiliation of authors should be in italics
- The body of the abstract mutt not exceed a 250-word limit. The word limits relate only to the text of the abstract and doesn’t include title,authors and institutions.It should be emphasized in normal-face type (Times New Roman, size 11in single line spacing)
- All abstracts should include 3 to 5 relevant keywords.

- Research Study
- Title, Author(s), Institution of Author(s)
- Background
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Keywords
- Case Report Study
- Title. Author(s),Institution of Authorjs)
- Background
- Case Illustration (don’t forget to include image for better illustration of the case)
- Discussion (could include,but not limited to differential diagnosis,different treatment alternative or brief review of the literature)
- Conclusions
- Keywords
